SUP Core Club


Join me for an hour's core yoga class on paddleboards at the beautiful Bigbury Beach. This class is available as a drop in class or a course ticket giving you a amazing discount! We will be be focusing on postures to help improve our core strength, in a fun and challenging environment. One of the benefits of practising yoga on a paddleboard is that it's a sneaky all-over workout, finding those muscles that we wouldn't normally to help stabilize us whilst getting the sense of freedom from being on the water and joy from becoming completely present in the moment. 

£15  - Drop in (if you have your own paddleboard) 

£30 - Drop in (with paddleboard hire) 

£36  - 3 week course (if you have your own paddleboard, working out at £12 per class!)

What To Expect

Once you have parked up, bring everything that you need down to the beach with you. Please meet me 10 mins before class starts on the beach so that you can sign any paperwork, grab your boards and we can go through safety info. 

I get it, practising yoga on water can seem a little intimidating. After all, many of us find plenty of a challenge balancing on land, myself included! But I want you to know that just like in my other classes, there aren't any expectations or judgment and the focus is truly on having fun.  Expect to get wet, to laugh harder than you have laughed for a while and for your cheeks to hurt from smiling so hard... oh and your abs! ;)

It is so magical practising outside in nature, drawing all your awareness to your senses, listening to the sound of the ocean, breathing in the fresh salty air and allowing yourself to settle into the present moment.

We Love Discovery Surf

Haven’t got a paddleboard?  No problem!  I have teamed up with the wonderful Discovery Surf School who have kindly offered a discounted SUP hire rate of £15 for the hour!  This is payable on the day, so please remember to bring card/cash along with you for this.

Discovery also hire out wetsuits if you would like to wear one (prices here). If so, please give enough time to hire and get changed before we meet on the beach for the safety briefing (which commences 10 minutes before scheduled start time).

Please note, classes are subject to date change and weather conditions.  Look out for an email from me the night before class to confirm that the conditions will be suitable and class will be going ahead.

If conditions are not suitable, the class will be rescheduled or you can opt for an alternative experience (e.g. a coastal walk, a slice of delicious home-baked cake and yoga class on a sheltered beach and walk back to Bigbury after - maybe even have a little swim if you are feeling up to it!)

If no suitable date is available for a rescheduled SUP class and you don't want the alternative experience offered, you will be offered a refund.

What to Bring

  • Card/cash for SUP hire (if applicable)

  • Towel

  • Suncream

  • Water

  • Warm change of clothes

  • Change for parking (you can use the RingGo app but there is no signal in Bigbury - I recommend pulling over at the Golf Club on the way if you need signal)

What to Wear

The choice is all yours! ​

I would recommend a light top (If you have a rash vest, that would work great!) with leggings or shorts that are light material and that you wouldn't mind getting wet​, honestly anything that you are comfortable in!

Be sure to bring with you a change of clothes including a jumper and socks so you can get nice and toasty after class.

Of course if you would be more comfortable wearing a wetsuit, please do!

You can wear your choice of swimwear under your clothes or stick to your normal workout underwear.
