Sweet Surrender

Are you ready to fully surrender? Imagine how it would feel to let go of all expectations and settle into acceptance. This event will give you the time to connect to your inner world, to slow down and soften.  We will begin our time together setting an intention, tapping into our breath and melting into some restorative yoga.  This will teach you how consciously soften, relax and let go.  Finishing our time together with a Yoga Nidra practise, fully reclined and marinating in a state of deep rest.  Yoga Nidra is finding the place between being asleep and being awake. After this event you will feel lighter, deeply rested and be able offer your best self to the world.

What to expect

Meet me at Bigbury Memorial Hall where I will be guiding you up to our peaceful space, filled with candles, fairy lights and a whole lot of props! 

As we practice our active rest this afternoon, lets put away the phones, remove our distractions, and just practice being. 

As we begin to get settled in and get comfortable, we shall start to set an intention for our minds to focus there attention on, tapping into our breath and melting into some restorative yoga. We shall be moving with ease from one pose to other, using the blankets, pillows and bolsters to allow us to fully surrender into each pose. This practise is an internal practice designed to build awareness, non attachment and a deep surrender.  Remember that we do not use the body to get into a pose, we use the pose to get into the body, and knowing that when we surrender it allows us to process the world around us and within us.  

Finishing our time together with a yoga Nidra practise, we will be reclined covered in blankets and marinating in a state of deep rest. Yoga Nidra is finding the space between being asleep and awake, consciously resting.  Soaking up the benefits of stillness, taking time stop and be with yourself.

 

This event will give you the space to consciously soften, relax and let go.  After these few hours you will feel lighter, deeply rested and ready to offer your best self to the world.
