4:00 - 4:15 Welcome
4:15 - 5:15 Guided Meditation and Journaling
You will be guided through a meditation that brings your awareness to the present moment and enables you to reduce stress and reach a state of absolute relaxation. You will then be led through the anxiety-relieving technique of Journaling. Thought-provoking questions and writing prompts will enable you to look inward, free from any judgement, to improve your sense of clarity, clear mental clutter and allow you to let go of any worries.
5:15 - 5:45 Gentle Movement
You will be practising a variety of yoga postures and movements that improve flexibility, reduce stress levels and encourage mindfulness. Led by an instructor with a background in physiotherapy, these gentle movements improve elasticity and mobility, allowing for less tension in both body and mind.
5:45 - 6:45 Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga offers the chance to turn inward, nurture the calm and recharge. I will be leading you through this soothing practice of stillness and patience where we will be holding restorative yoga poses to activate the body’s parasympathetic nervous system. We will be reminded of self-compassion and the importance of pausing to find stillness in any storm.
6:45 - 7:00 Andys Man Club
We will be joined by representatives from Andys Man Club to talk about the fantastic work being carried out by this charity.
